Cast Iron Southern Apple Crisp Recipe

Cast Iron Southern Apple Crisp

Cast Iron Southern Apple Crisp

The apple is one of the main fruits that we keep on hand in our house. We haven’t tried a variety yet that we don’t like! I try to buy apples based upon what is in season to save money; however, there are certain apples that make all the difference in a recipe. The Honeycrisp Apple is one of my favorites because it’s sweet and they make for a great addition to this recipe! Don’t worry if you have different apples that need to be used up – they are all yummy!

  1. I just bought a bunch of apples that I was worried would go bad before we could eat them. This looks like a great recipe to surprise the family with. I love apple crisp. Thank you so much for the great idea!

  2. I love this idea- I have the pan, the apples and actually all the ingredients except the vanilla ice cream that would make it perfection! Pinning for when I get it!
