When I think of appetizers and party snacks, my mind immediately goes to recipes that include jalapenos. My husband isn’t a fan of overly spicy foods, but he does enjoy a good jalapeno dish (as long as I don’t let too many seeds slip in!). He loves these one-bite snacks for watching football, when we have get-togethers, or even on the weekends when we have a grazing day (aka “when I don’t want to fully cook day”).
These Jalapeno Popper Bites are super easy to prep and ready to enjoy in about 20 minutes. In fact, if you know you’re going to make them, cook the bacon ahead of time! You can use Real Bacon Bits, but personally, I prefer cooking some up (I’m guilty of cooking a few extra pieces to enjoy!). If you’re taking them to a party or get-together, make them up and check with your host/hostess if you can pop them in the oven so they can be served warm.
Entertaining doesn’t have to take a lot of time nor does it need to be fancy. That’s why I love these Jalapeno Popper Bites. These are easily in my top ten for game day snacks whether it’s college, professional, or even after a local game. The bites will help you feed the crew while allowing for you to spend quality time with your family and friends.
If you prefer, you can make the filling ahead of time and keep in a covered bowl until ready to use. It can be stored for up to 2 days. You can also use the filling to make a Grilled Cheese – but Jalapeno Popper Bites flavor! These are some of the tastiest sandwiches for lunch I’ve ever had. Kids and adults will both love this recipe.
