These marinated grilled chicken breasts are a flavorful, easy meal!
Weeknights are made for quick, easy meals. That’s why I had to share these marinated grilled chicken breasts with y’all. Chicken breasts are one of the meats that are most frequently over-cooked, leaving them dry and flavorless. Marinating the chicken is one way to help ensure this doesn’t happen with your chicken!
For marinating, I always recommend using fresh herbs for the best flavors. Marinating the chicken adds flavor on the outside, as well as soaks down inside of the meat. Because of the high heat of a grill, the marinade is a surefire way to ensure delicious chicken.
My favorite part about this recipe is that the flavors make it easy to pair with an assortment of sides including grilled garden vegetables, leafy green salads, or even potato salad. To save time and meal prep, double or triple this recipe to add chicken to your lunches and dinners for the week.
Some of my favorite side ideas:
- Brussels Sprouts and Bacon
- Greek-Style Lemon Potatoes
- Tri-Color Roasted Rosemary Potatoes
- Classic Caesar Salad
- Crunchy Broccoli Slaw
- Roasted Broccoli Salad
- Potato Salad

Remove chicken from the refrigerator and discard excess marinade. Grill the breasts over medium direct heat, turning once, for 10-12 minutes total. Remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes before serving with your choice of sides. Enjoy!
