Grinch Oreo Balls – The Perfect Holiday Sweet Treat!
When it comes to Christmas, our family enjoys creating finger foods to enjoy while we open gifts, watch holiday movies, and snack. These festive sweet treats are made with crumbled Oreo cookies that are covered with green candy melts and topped with a cute red heart. These are on of the top holiday treats because of how easy they are. Plus, you don’t have to heat the kitchen up with the oven.
So what exactly are Oreo balls? They are cream cheese balls, packed with crumbles of Oreos, and topped with candy or chocolate coatings. They can be covered with chocolate drizzle, candy sprinkles, or cute little red hearts like these. The possibilities are endless!

How to Make Grinch Oreo Balls:
Crush the OREO cookies using a food processor, or by placing them into a gallon size bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
Add crushed cookies and cream cheese to a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, and beat until well blended.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll cookie mixture into 1 inch balls or use a 1-inch cookie scoop – this one is my favorite!
Freeze for one hour.
Pour candy into a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds, then remove and stir well. Repeat the heating and stirring process until the candy is completely melted.
Remove cookie balls from the freezer, and dip them into the candy, coating the entire ball. Place the candy coated cookie ball on the parchment paper.
Place a heart sprinkle on top of the candy coated ball.
Once you have coated all of the cookie balls with candy and placed sprinkles on them, refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the candy coating to set.

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz light green candy melts
- 48 red heart sprinkles
Instructions
Crush the OREO cookies using a food processor, or by placing them into a gallon size bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
Add crushed cookies and cream cheese to a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, and beat until well blended.
