Peppermint Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Spoons are easy and fun to make!

When winter starts knockin’ on the door, there are a few things that I love to grab for warmth and comfort. The main one is my favorite soft blanket. Quickly following up in second place is a cup of hot chocolate. A few years ago, a friend of mine gifted a collection of spoons that mixed up different flavors for a cup of cocoa.

The spoons were convenient and less messy than a package of hot chocolate, so I thought I would try my hand at making my own. Turns out, they’re easy and definitely make great gifts. You don’t have to include the spoons, but they are handy for mixing up a mug.

I like using a mini muffin tin to make these because they are the perfect size for a standard mug and 8 ounces of warm milk. Even the kids can get involved in making these. Their little hands are perfect for adding the mini marshmallows and pieces of peppermint.

For added holiday flair, you can use seasonal cupcake liners in the tins that are easily pulled off when you’re ready to use the spoons.
