It is a pleasure to share 30 days’ worth of tips and information that will have you thinking about yourself in a better, more confident fashion.
This month is all about breaking down the elements of confidence – how to get it, keep it, and thrive with it. No more standing on the sidelines wishing you had the courage to be in the game. You will be setting the rules of the game! Doesn’t that feel scary and exhilarating all at the same time?
My Personal Confidence Story
Adults who knew me as child often describe me as a happy, sweet, and quiet; but also self-confident. As I aged, I had outside sources who tore the veil of confidence down through emotional, mental, and physical abuse. I became withdrawn and somewhat shy. Anxiety constantly threatened every public situation that I found myself in.
Fast forward to 2017. I woke up from surgery from complications of my Fallopian tubes re-growing, causing a miscarriage, and one tube exploded, causing internal bleeding. My OB/GYN was straight up with me — I was within 30 minutes of death. Since then, my life has been quite different!
Rather than leaning on others for a confidence boost, I have learned how to find confidence from within. Even if others can’t (or won’t!) see my value, I am still able to hold my head up. I stopped apologizing for who I am and decided to embrace it.
I’m truly excited for you to be here, sharing this challenge with me. We only get one life and it flies by faster with each year that passes. Why not make each moment the best we can?! Let’s feel good and learn how to build ourselves up!

Are you ready? Let’s do this! You can get yourself started today by thinking about your confidence level and where you think your confidence lies. Are you bold and powerful in all areas of your confidence-life? Have you always wanted to be more confident but didn’t know how? Have you thought you don’t have what it takes to be bolder and more assured? No matter where you are, 30 days from now you are going to be unstoppable. I promise!
The Peacock Symbol
The peacock possesses some of the most admired human characteristic traits. They are viewed as a symbol of integrity and often, confidence. Throughout this challenge, I’ll be using a lot of pictures of the peacock to reinforce the beauty (inside and out!) that we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colors to the world.
The blues, greens, and purples remind me of nobility. When was the last time you saw someone of nobility walking around with their head hung down? They hold their heads high, full confidence. Start using these colors as an inspirational way to rejuvenate your self-esteem and confidence when you’re feeling blue or blah.
The peacock reminds us that there are times that it’s perfectly okay to flaunt what we have and show our talents and skills to the world! Their energy is an inspiration. Think of how a peacock spreads their feathers to get your attention. We can compare this to fanning out our assets to achieve the opportunities that we seek!
Day 1 Challenge
Grab a piece of paper and jot down your thoughts about your confidence levels. Ask yourself these questions:
- How confident do you feel with your body? What is your biggest challenge feeling comfortable in your own skin? What areas would you like to see improvement?
- Who do you admire and see as very confident? What is it about them that influences you? What do you tell yourself they have that you don’t?
- What would it look like if you had complete confidence? What would your world look like? What would you wear, drive, do for income, and do to help others?
- What is the biggest barrier you have to becoming more confident? What area is holding you back? What is the biggest block to overcoming the barrier?
Start thinking about where you are on the confidence scale and you will be better able to receive new information because it is stirred up in your mind. You’ll be experiencing light bulb moments for an entire month!
