Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be expensive nor stressful! You can make delicious treats in your own kitchen and impress your loved ones with how fun and tasty they are. When we think of a cheese ball, our minds often think of more savory flavors. But today, I’m sharing a sweet M&M’s Valentine’s Day Dessert Cheese Ball with y’all!
When it comes to cookies, one of my top five favorites is the simple butter cookie. In addition to being tasty all on their own, these cookies work great to serve with this dessert cheese ball. Pretzels and even crackers are another great option.
A cheese ball can be made ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator for up to a week if it’s properly stored. You’ll want to wrap it in a couple of layers of clear wrap and then in a layer of aluminum foil. Don’t squeeze too tight, though. You might affect the round ball form you’re wanting to achieve. Also, you won’t want to add the M&M candies until right before you’re ready to serve.
Prior to serving, unwrap the ball and allow to warm up for 15 to 20 minutes. Your guests will appreciate that it’s easier to dip the crackers and pretzels and the flavors will be even better.
