Office potluck dishes can be as different (and sometimes as odd!) as your coworkers. But with these options, you’ll bring home an empty dish every time!
Soon after I started working in my current office, I discovered that they were definitely my kind of people – they love to eat! The birthday tradition is a little different than most in that we cook for the office staff (the shop crew brings in donuts) to celebrate. We also enjoy indulging in snacks during holidays and well, pretty much any time someone feels drawn to bring a dish in. But if you’re in need of potluck dishes, this is the perfect place to start.
Even if your coworkers are “on a diet” or “eating KETO”, the rules seem to go out the window during an office potluck meal. Don’t be the coworker who brings in the dish that gets left sitting on the sidelines. Choose one of these sure-fire potluck dishes and enjoy!

12 Potluck Dishes Everyone Will Love:
1| Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip

Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip is one of my all-time favorite dishes to carry to a potluck dinner. Before my brother passed away, this was one of our favorite go-to appetizers that subbed as a full meal! In addition to chips, you can scoop up this delicious dip with toasted baguette slices, sourdough bread, crackers, etc.
2| Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are a dish that never goes back home full. The fun part is that they’re even easier to make if you own an Instant Pot and use the 5-5-5 method. Add your own twist of flavor by using horseradish, crumbled bacon, powdered ranch dressing, chives, etc. I prefer using dill relish while others use the sweet. Either way — they’re always a favorite for potlucks!
3| Meatballs
Making meatballs from scratch can take a little bit of time; but they are oh so worth it! If you’re pinched for time, grab the premade meatballs from the freezer section at your local grocery store. Set your slow cooker to low, add the meatballs, and cover in barbecue sauce and grape jelly. I’ve also mixed up a batch with sweet chili sauce and grape jelly — the perfect balance of sweet and savory!
4| Guacamole & Chips
Avocados have been trending for a few years now — and I don’t think they’re going anywhere any time soon! They contain the good fat and are a heart-healthy, nutrient-filled superfood. The only difficult question you have to ask yourself with this dish is — creamy or chunky? Guacamole and chips are another dish you won’t return home with from a potluck meal!
5| 7 Layer Taco Dip

Everyone needs a layer dip recipe. I’m loving this 7 Layer Dip from My Creative Manner! I like to compare this dish to unwrapping a gift that has been packed from a tiny box to a large box. It gets better with each layer! I recommend serving this with thicker chips or even pita chips because you’re going to want to take a scoop of all 7 layers!
6| Sausage Balls
If you go to a party and sausage balls aren’t available, it’s probably not going to be a very good party. I’m kidding…..but seriously, these things are the ultimate party food! Hot sausage is my go-to with these tasty treats and they can always be changed up with a variety of cheeses, too.
7| Cocktail Mini Smokies
If you’ve ever had these, you know they’re impossible to stop with just one! These can be prepared with the barbecue sauce and grape jelly like the meatballs or they can even be wrapped with bacon for more delicious flavor. Brown sugar is another sweet way to take mini smokies to the next level.
8| Potato Salad
After I made potato salad in the Instant Pot, I knew I’d never go back to cooking it any other way. I love how quick it is to make and the clean-up is even easier.
9| Chicken Wings
When I told my husband that I was making Instant Pot wings, he was extremely hesitant about whether they would be as good as what we get at restaurants. One batch and he said wings couldn’t be fixed any other way! The IP makes them fall-off-the-bone tender; but they crisp up and hold together for easy serving.
10| Banana Walnut Muffins
These Banana Walnut Muffins are the perfect addition to a breakfast or brunch potluck. But personally, I’d eat them any time of the day! The sweetness of the bananas paired with the walnuts is a good blend to give you a boost any time of day.
11| Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies
Baking is kind of my specialty so I am usually the coworker who brings the sweet treats. This blend of chocolate and peanut butter in brownie form is exactly what a sweet tooth needs after filling up on other potluck dishes.
12| Cucumber Cups with Feta & Dill
Cucumber cups are quick, easy, and cool making them a tasty addition to any potluck. Add feta and dill and you have a refreshing snack!
