Take your basic green beans side dish to a new level by roasting the beans and adding Parmesan! This dish is perfect for entertaining because it looks and tastes like you spent a lot more time in the kitchen than you actually did. Roasting the green beans makes them tender and full of robust flavor. Using a high-quality extra virgin olive oil and freshly grated Parmesan cheese is an added bonus to the natural appeal of this classic side.
One of my favorite dishes to serve the green beans with is my marinated grilled chicken breasts. Add in a side of fruit and you’ll have a perfectly balanced meal for the entire family. I often have to double the recipe when my oldest son is at home. He can eat an entire batch for his meal!
