S’mores are a nostalgic treat that brings back a lot of memories from my childhood for me. We frequently enjoyed them on camping trips and in the backyard during the summer. Easter was always pretty chilly since we lived in Illinois, but with these treats, you don’t need to even leave the kitchen!
Roasting marshmallows is always one of the best parts of s’mores, but for this recipe, we use the oven. Kids of all ages can help in preparing these treats for the oven and you’ll be enjoying the gooey goodness in less than 15 minutes. Unlike traditional marshmallows, Peeps give you that extra burst of color. It’s fair to note that these are extra sweet.
Desserts don’t have to be complicated to be tasty. All you need is your favorite colors of Peeps, graham crackers, and a Hershey chocolate bar. With the added colored sugar of the Peeps, these pop in pictures and when displayed for a party or special event.
